Rachel Zeffira's album Elizabeth Harvest is a hauntingly beautiful masterpiece that showcases her incredible talent as a singer and songwriter. The album is a seamless blend of classical and pop influences, with Zeffira's ethereal voice soaring above lush orchestral arrangements. From the haunting opening track "The Deserters" to the dreamy "Letters from Tokyo (Sayonara)," Elizabeth Harvest is a journey through Zeffira's unique musical universe.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "To Here Knows When," a cover of the classic shoegaze song by My Bloody Valentine. Zeffira's version is stripped down and delicate, with her voice taking on a haunting quality that perfectly captures the song's melancholy mood. Another highlight is "Break the Spell," a cinematic ballad that showcases Zeffira's stunning vocal range and emotive storytelling.

Zeffira’s Elizabeth Harvest score contains elements of all of her musical influences, from her choral and orchestral arranging to her oboe solos and contemporary songwriting. Erik Satie’s sarabande becomes an underlying musical theme, which gradually becomes more unhinged as the score progresses. Other characters feature yet more experimental themes, where pieces were chopped, rebuilt and manipulated.
