@SamuraiClinton I agree w/ you homie, but I think u should differentiate between HIP HOP and RAP. HIP HOP involves the 5 elements, which musically means it involves creativity, originality, the producer, DJ, etc, not just some egocentric phoney rapper over a synthesized beat. the garbage on the radio these days is RAP or just plain POP nonsense. you're giving it too much credit to even call it hip hop!

We gotta bring back THE FUNK for the 2010s.

I haven't liked any chart topping song made after 2001. If they don't make any songs with the dual (chart topper / song I like) status, then it means its the end of entertainment as we know it.

FUNK IS REAL; HIP HOP IS FAKE, ironically hip hop was an extension to funk before it became fake!
