Bananarama's album Long Train Running is a vibrant and energetic collection of songs that showcases the British girl group's signature pop sound. The album features a mix of original tracks and covers, all infused with Bananarama's catchy melodies and catchy choruses.

The album's title track, a cover of the Doobie Brothers' classic hit, is a standout, with Bananarama's harmonies adding a fresh twist to the familiar tune. Other covers on the album, including "Last Thing on My Mind" and "I Heard a Rumour," are equally enjoyable.

However, it's the original tracks that truly shine on Long Train Running. "More Than Physical" is a bouncy, synth-heavy track that showcases the group's fun-loving spirit, while "A Trick of the Night" is a moody ballad that displays their vocal range.

That is exactly one side of the real talent of Bananarama, to take on a classic song, by elevating it and make it sound fresh and sometime even more enjoyable than the original. They did that brilliantly with Venus and they did it again with this one. Such a putty, that it did not chart that high as Venus
